2018 Summer Special Trains From Indian Railways

The Indian Railways has launched forty-two summer special trains for passengers scheduling to travel on a holiday as the temperatures high.

Subsequently, the move to launch weekly superfast special trains across different routes in India is meant to handle with the heavy crowd of passengers that the railways are anticipating this summer. With the heat storm anticipated to go soaring quickly, the initiation has arrived as a welcome surprise.

So, here is the list of Indian railways special trains, their routes and timings.

The Train No.01664/01663 Habibganj–Dharwar–Habibganj Weekly Special with Special Fare departs from Habibganj at 5PM every Friday, and arrives Dharwar at 7:30 PM on Saturday. The train services will start on April 6th, 2018 from Habibganj, and will remain until June 29th, 2018.

On its return direction, the Dharwar-Habibganj Weekly Spl. will start from Dharwar at about 10:50 PM, each Saturday, and come to Habibganj at 4:20 AM in the morning on Monday. The services of this train will begin from Dharwar on April 7, 2018, and go till June 20th, 2018.

The fixed halt both to and fro the journey will comprise Hosangabad, Itarsi, Khandwa, Manmad, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Bhusaval, Pune, Karad, Sangli, Daund, Satara, Miraj Jn, Ghataprabha, Belagavi, Khanapur, & Londa.

The Weekly Tatkal Special Train No.06541/06542 Yesvantpur–Pandharpur–Yesvantpur route will commmence from Yesvantpur on Thursdays at 6PM, and reach Pandharpur at 11:35AM on Fridays. The train will start its debut on tracks on April 5th, 2018, and operate until June 28, 2018.

On its back route, the Pandharpur–Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Special train no. 06542 will start from Pandharpur each Friday at 1:35PM, and arrive Yesvantpur at 6:20AM on Saturdays. This train is available from Pandharpur on April 6, 2018 until June 29, 2018.

The train halts at stations Tumakuru, Arsikere, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Ghataprabha, Kudachi, Miraj, Kavathe Mahankal, Dhalgaon, and Sangole both routes.

The Train Route No.82653/82654 Yesvantpur–Jaipur–Yesvantpur Weekly Suvidha Superfast Express Spl will escape from Yesvantpur at 11:30 AM every Thursday, coming at 6:35 AM at Jaipur, on Saturdays. The train services will kick-off from Yesvantpur on April 5th, 2018 and the service will cease on June 28, 2018.

On the other arm, train no.82653 will have its return journey from Jaipur at 10:15 PM on Saturdays, and arrive at Yesvantpur at 5:55 PM on Mondays. The services of this train will be made available from April 7th, 2018 to June 30, 2018.

The train will have its stops at Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Chikjajur, Chitradurga, Ballari, Guntakal, Mantralayam Road, Raichur, Yadgir, Wadi, Gulbarga, Solapur, Pune, Panvel, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Mandsar, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara, & Ajmer.

The Train No.06547 & 06548 Yesvantpur–Ernakulam– Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Special will flag-off Yesvantpur at 10:45PM on Tuesdays, and reach Ernakulam at 12:00PM on the next day. The trains runs from April 3, 2018 till June 26, 2018.

The return direction will be taken by train no.06548 Ernakulam–Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Special from Ernakulam at 2:45PM on Wednesdays. It will complete its trip at Yesvantpur at 4:30AM morning the succeeding day. The first trip will be started from Ernakulam on April 4th, 2018 and the last trip has been fixed for June 27, 2018.

The train will take short breathings at stations of Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai, Tirupattur, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Podhanur, Palghat, Otapalam, Thrissur, Aluva, and Ernakulam Town.

Train No.06579/06580 Yesvantpur–Visakhapatnam– Yesvantpur Wkly Tatkal Express Special Train no.06579 will begin from Yesvantpur at around 6:35 PM every Friday, and reach Vishakapatnam at 2:35 PM the consequent day. On March 30th, 2018, the services of the train will start for the debut time while the final trip has been set for May 25, 2018.

The returns direction of the Vishakapatnam–Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Express Special will commence from Vishakapatnam at 1:45 PM each Sunday and finish at Yesvantpur at 9:05 AM every Monday. This train will be started off on April 1 and operate till May 27, 2018.

The train will stop at Banasawadi, Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Bangarpet, Kuppam, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Ankapalle, and Duvvada.

Train No.07603/07604 Kacheguda–Krishnarajapuram– Kacheguda Weekly Special is a Special Fare train between Kacheguda–Krishnarajapuram is also a Weekly Special train that depart Kacheguda at 6:00 PM on Sundays and arrives Krishnarajapuram the following day at 6:00 AM. The first train is from April 1, 2018 and the last train is on June 24, 2018.

Train no.07604 Krishnarajapuram–Kacheguda Weekly Special will have its return trip from Krishnarajapuram at 3:25PM on Mondays, and reach Kacheguda at about 6:55 AM the next day. The train services will kick-off from Krishnarajapuram on April 2nd, and move on till June 25th, 2018.

Both directions, the train will have a pit stop at stations like Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool Town, Dhone, Gooty, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Shri Satya Sai Prasanthinilayam, Penukonda, Hindupur, & Yelahanka.

Train No.08301/08302 Sambalpur–Banaswadi–Sambalpur Weekly Express special is also a Special Fare train that leaves Sambalpur on Wednesdays at 9:30AM in the morning and reaches Banaswadi at 4:40PM on Thursdays. The first train is from Sambalpur on April 4th, 2018, and the last train is on June 27, 2018.

The return journey will be started by train number 08302 Banaswadi–Sambalpur Weekly Express Special from Banaswadi 00:30 hours on Fridays. The train will come to Sambalpur at 6:35 AM on Saturdays. The train service from Banaswadi starts from April 6th, 2018 until June 29, 2018.

The train will stop both routes at Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Rayagada, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Gudur, Renigunta (via Pakala) Katpadi, Jolarpettai, and Krishnarajapuram.
