The fullform for NEET will be National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test which is an entrance examination conducted every year by CBSE for the admission of students to MBBS/BDS Courses in India.
Ever year the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test UG NEET UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE for admission of candidates to MBBS/BDS Courses across all the states of India in Medical/Dental Colleges

What is the responsibility of CBSE for NEET-UG, 2017?
Ans: The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General of Health Services, New Delhi for counselling of 15% All India Quota Seats and providing the result to the State Counselling Authorities and Admitting Institutions.

Ans: NEET-UG, 2017 will be conducted on 7 th May, 2017 (Sunday).
What is the minimum qualification for appearing in NEET-UG, 2017 for candidates of reserved/unreserved category?
Ans: Any examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology; Which shall include practical test in these subjects) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English.
What are the eligibility criteria for appearing in NEET-UG, 2017?
Ans: For Candidates of Unreserved Category (UR) born on or between 08.05.1992 and 01.01.2001 and For Candidates of SC/ST/OBC Category born on or between 08.05.1987 and 01.01.2001
What is the number of attempts for appearing in NEET-UG?
Ans: The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at NEET-UG examination shall be limited to 3 (three) uniformly to all the candidates. The candidates who have already appeared in AIPMT/NEET on three occasions are not allowed to take this examination.
Is there any seat in MBBS/BDS on which admission will be made without appearing in NEET-UG?
Ans: No. Admissions in 100% MBBS/BDS seats will be done through the NEET-UG only.
Whether the examination will be offline or online?
Ans: NEET-UG, 2017 will be an offline pen and paper test.
What will be the pattern of NEET-UG 2017?
Ans: The NEET-UG 2017 consists of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.
What are the duration/timings of NEET-UG 2017?
Ans: The duration of NEET-UG 2017 will be 03 hours from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. However, no entry will be allowed after 9.30 a.m.
What is the reservation criteria for seats falling under the jurisdiction of States?
Ans: It is as per State Reservation Policy.
What is the meaning of percentile rank?
Ans: A percentile rank is the percentage of score that fall below a given score in a group.
How the merit list will be prepared by the States?
Ans: States will prepare their own merit list based on All India Rank keeping in view the category of candidates.
Will there be negative marking in NEET-UG, 2017?
Ans: Yes. Each correct answer will get 04 marks and for each incorrect response, 01 mark will be deducted from the total score.
How will one know the result of the NEET-UG, 2017?
Ans: The result of NEET-UG, 2017 will be uploaded on the website www.cbseneet.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in as per schedule.

About 180 questions are asked in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test UG NEET UG 2017 entrance examination with the Sets A, B, C, D, P, Q, R, S, W, X, Y, Z, Set XX, Set PP, Set QQ, Set RR, Set SS question papers was prepared.
NEET 2017 Result:
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test UG NEET UG 2017 entrance examination result was released on 23rd June 2017 by Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE.
